    Production Staff

    Kiwicare are seeking people to work in the production area of the company.

    Process Workers – Kiwicare Corporation Ltd

    Kiwicare Corporation Ltd is a Christchurch based manufacturer and distributor of the ‘NO’ range of pest control, garden care and DIY home maintenance products.

    We have several casual process worker positions available at our Maces Rd site.

    Duties include the following:

    • Filling, labelling and packing of liquid and powder products.
    • Assisting batching staff.
    • Setting up production stations.
    • Undertaking cleaning duties as required.

    Only those who are physically fit, have a good work record and are quality conscious need apply.

    Senior Chemical Analyst / Quality Control Manager

    Our Company provides expert solutions to keep homes pest free and gardens healthy. Based in Christchurch, we manufacture and distribute pest control and garden care products nationwide to hardware stores, garden centres, supermarkets and rural supply stores. We have been experiencing substantial growth both domestically, as well as an exporter.

    We have a modern laboratory on site, and have a team of seven science staff who form the basis of the Research, Development and QA functions of our Company. We are now seeking an experienced Chemical Analyst with QA management experience to join us in Christchurch.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Producing high quality and reliable chemical analytical results
    • Running the laboratory QA system effectively and efficiently.
    • Proactively develop the laboratory QA systems and contribute to the redevelopment of the Company QMS.
    • Drive continuous improvement in area of responsibility
    • Provide timely and pragmatic QA
    • Provide chemical analytical leadership.
    • Provide technical support for the laboratory equipment base

    You will need:

    • A higher qualification in chemistry or analytical chemistry
    • Previous experience in GC, HPLC, analytical UV-VIS, and IR.
    • Experience of running a laboratory QA system (e.g.  NAMAS, or ISO140001…)
    • An analytical view of laboratory testing and results.
    • Results orientation and good judgement
    • A practical knowledge of method development
