HOW TO CONTROL BROWN ROT

Remove shrivelled, dead fruits from trees and cankered twigs. Apply ORGANIC COPPER OXY, SUPER SPECTRUM or THIRAM FUNGUS CONTROL particularly at flowering and when the fruit is developing every 10-14 days. 

About

Brown rot infects blossoms, twigs and developing fruits on stone fruit.

Infected twigs develop small cankers. Infected flowers become covered in fungal down and wilt. Infected fruit develops brown patches that produce masses of spores.

Wet weather during the blossom period favours this disease.

  • Brown rot of fruit - Monilinia fructicola
  • Brown rot of potatoes, tomatoes, pepper etc. - Ralstonia solanacearum
