Buxus blight is a disease of box hedging plants. It causes dieback and browning off of leaves and shoots.
We advise using SUPER SPECTRUM in conjunction with sterilizing garden implements, improving air flow around plants and clearing up dead leaves and other material around affected plants.
Alternatively success has been reported using THIRAM FUNGUS CONTROL.
Buxus blight (box blight) is a disease caused by the fungus Cylindrocladium buxicola. It has become common in the UK, Europe and in New Zealand. A recent study* on the control of this disease has shown that carbendazim inhibits growth of the fungus and mancozeb inhibits spore germination.
