Hydrocotyle is a creeping weed commonly found in lawns throughout New Zealand.
Apply LAWNCLEAN HYDROCOTYLE, a selective herbicide that does not harm lawn grasses but kills hydrocotyle. For more effective control leave lawns uncut for two-three weeks before treatment. For best results use in Spring, Summer and Autumn when lawn and weed growth is vigorous.

Hydrocotyle is a creeping mat-forming weed often found in lawns and flowerbeds. The leaf is usually hairy, almost round and stalked at the centre.
Commonly found all over New Zealand.
There are 3 common hydrocotyle weeds of lawns; hairy weed Hydrocotyle moschata a shiny leaved weed Hydrocotyle heteromeria and Hydrocotyle novae-zeelandiae, which is quite a variable species. A 4th species common in Auckland lawns is Hydrocotyle tripartita.
