Useful Definitions

Herbicides that are safe for children and pets

All our Weed Weapon products are safe for children and pets once they have dried after being applied (note some products need to be applied, then watered in and then dry before being safe).

Rainfast in 2 hours

Most are also rainfast in 2 hours, meaning that once they’ve had time to dry, the product will continue to stick to the plant and work regardless of it rains or you regularly water your garden. This means it’s a sound investment that won’t get washed away the minute the weeds get wet.

Short Acting & Biodegradable

Many of our herbicides are short acting and biodegradable meaning they breakdown in the soil shortly after application. This means that after a weed has been treated, it can typically be pulled out and new planting in that area can occur, just 5 to 7 days after a weed has been treated.

Systemic

A systemic herbicide is a herbicide that kills the full weed right down to the roots (not just the leaves and everything above soil). This means that once a weed is pulled out, any roots left in the soil will not sprout new growth.
