Kiwicare Timber Sealer is highly suitable for all types of timber cladding around the home and garden. Sealing timber with NO Leaks Waterproof Timber Sealer significantly reduces warping, splitting and cupping of timber due to water absorption. Sealing the timber enhances the retention of the ‘new sawn’ look for much longer.  

Kiwicare Timber Sealer is Ready to Use, contains no organic solvents, reduces water uptake, allows passage of water vapour and dramatically reduces sap staining.

Treated surfaces may be painted over with all types of paints and varnishes.

Directions

NO Leaks Waterproof Timber Sealer is ready to use so does not need diluting.

Remove all moss, grime and dirt before sealing.  Product can be applied by brush, dip or spray.  Kiwicare Timber Sealer  will quickly soak into the wood. Allow up to 48 hours for full water repellency.  A second application may be carried out if required.

All over spray onto non timber areas such as glass and aluminium should be cleaned off immediately with warm water and detergent.

Coverage

A light dampening application is normally all that is required.  Product use will vary somewhat depending on porosity of timber and method of application.  As a guideline the following brush applications will apply;

Pine                 15m² per litre

Red Cedar      16m² per litre

Safety

Eye Contact - Flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes holding eyelids open.

Inhalation - Avoid inhalation of vapour. Operator should move to an area of fresh air

Skin Contact - Wash affected area with soap and water.     

Swallowed - Do not induce vomiting, drink 1-2 glasses of milk or water.

                      Obtain medical advice immediately.

If any ill effects persist call a doctor.

Spills And Disposal

Wear protective clothing. Contain spill and absorb with Sand, Soil or absorbent granules.  Do not allow product or washings to enter the waterways or sewer.

Handling And Storage

Store in original container in a cool, dry ventilated place, away from direct heat or sunlight. Store away from foodstuffs, children and animals. Keep container sealed when not in use.
