Summary

NO Germs Hand Sanitiser leaves hands clean, smooth, moisturised and free of germs. Ideal for keeping hands hygienic around the home, office, factory, while travelling, after changing babies diapers or before eating especially when no soap and water is available.

Hypo-allergenic natural glycerin and emollients and fragrance moisturise and condition the skin and ethyl alcohol kills 99.99% of germs including pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

In a time when the risk of catching or passing on germs is in the forefront of our minds the use of NO Germs Hand Sanitiser is an important way to help stop the spread of influenza (swine flu, bird flu and seasonal flu), colds, and stomach bugs such as salmonella, E. coli, campylobacter and other infections.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Research report that hand sanitiser containing 60% alcohol is as effective at killing microbes as washing hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds (unless the hands are heavily soiled).

It is not always possible to wash hands with soap and water, e.g. while travelling or during office work. In these cases hand sanitiser is a handy way to prevent the spread of harmful microorganisms. As NO Germs can be used 'on the go' it is particularly useful in public areas where surfaces are contacted by many people or animals. Think also of the surfaces in offices such as keyboards, phones and door handles which many people contact repeatedly. Flu viruses can survive more than two hours on surfaces. Flu and other flu-like illnesses can be picked up from such surfaces by contact with the hands and then contact with the mouth, eyes and face. Regular use of NO Germs will break this cycle.

Instructions for Good Hand Hygiene

For thorough sanitisation and hygiene of hands we recommend:

1. Remove jewellery and apply enough NO Germs to palm to keep hand surfaces moist for at least 20 seconds.
2. Rub palms together.
3. Rub between and around fingers.
4. Cover all surfaces of hands and fingers.
5. Rub thumbs.
6. Rub fingertips of each hand in opposite palm.
7. Continue rubbing until hands are dry.

Do not use NO Germs with water and do not dry on paper or cloth towels.

Note: Wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty or contaminated. We recommend washing hands with soap and water after 5 - 10 applications of gel. See also the recommendations of Auckland Regional Public Health Service.
