Weeds - Selective Control

Selective weed killers target specific groups of weed plants among others. For example Turfclean, NO Moss in Lawns and NO Hydrocotyle can be sprayed or sprinkled on your lawn and will kill only the broad leaved weeds without harming the grass. Ronstar will prevent weeds emerging and so is useful on areas where weeds have not yet established or have already been cleared. NO Woody Weeds and NO Stumps are used to control more difficult weeds and prevent cut stumps resprouting respectively.

NO WEEDS RONSTAR SG

Ronstar is a selective pre-emergence granular herbicide for controlling weeds in the open garden, containers, and nurseries.  Ronstar prevents the germination of seeds, and small bulbs like Oxalis.  It is safe around the base of established shrubs, roses, trees.

Sprinkle Ronstar on bare soil and water in.  Leave the soil undisturbed for 3 months.

We recommend the area to be treated is clear of all other weed growth before applying Ronstar. The other weeds can be cleared using NO Weeds Buster or similar.

NO LAWNWEEDS TURFCLEAN

The perfect solution for the control of all types of annual and perennial broad leaf weeds and clovers in established lawns. NO LawnweedsTurfclean does not harm grasses. Optimum time to use is when weed growth is vigorous in spring, summer and autumn.

Available as a concentrate to dilute with water or a ready to use 500ml trigger pack.

We recommend the use of NO Waste Spray Stick and NO Waste Dye to give even and effective coverage of your lawn. They will reduce the risk of over or under-treating areas. Note: the spray dye will leave your lawn with a pink colour until the harmless dye has weathered off.

NO HYDROCOTYLE

This is a selective herbicide that kills hydrocotyle, creeping oxalis, daisies, clovers and other broad leaf weeds that grow in lawns and turf.  Not suitable on Dichondra or cotula lawns or where clover is being encouraged.

NO Hydrocotyle painted on the stumps of re-sprouting trees and shrubs such as willow, wattle, barbary, hawthorn, woolly nightshade, gorse, and broom will prevent re-sprouting from the stumps.

Controls moss and broad leaf weeds in established lawns. A fertiliser is incorporated in this product which encourages new grass growth after the moss and broad leaf have been treated. NO Moss and Weeds can be sprinkled on as a dry granule or diluted in water and sprayed on.

NO Moss in Lawns controls moss, liverworts and algal slime in lawns, fine turf, amenity turf, cotula bowling greens, paths and other hard surfaces.  Application is best made in autumn or early winter before the moss becomes too established or dense.

NO WOODY WEEDS Concentrate

Controls hard to kill broad leaf weeds such as convolvulus, docks, sorrel, black nightshade, bindweed, chickweeds, cleavers (low growing flat leaved weeds) and thistles.  Woody scrub weeds controlled include ink weeds, fennel, willows, sage bush, hemlock. This product does not control grass weeds. Dilute with water and spray when growth is active.
