Re-sprouting Stumps
When we cut down trees the majority of the tree is often left as the stump and root system. Using stored energy in the root system the tree can re-sprout and soon become a bushy rejuvenated version of the tree you were trying to eliminate. Sometimes grubbing out the root will only encourage the pieces of root left behind to sprout as multiple new trees or bushes. NO Stumps (and NO Hydrocotyle) painted onto the cut stump surfaces will penetrate into the root system and kill it off finally from the inside out.
- Scarf (ring bark) the stump before painting on NO Stumps or NO Hydrocotyle.
- Or drill holes around the stump and fill the holes with NO Stumps or NO Hydrocotyle.
NO STUMPS Concentrate
Controls willow, poplars, privets and other trees which re sprout from prune cuts and stumps. Dilute with water and paint liberally onto freshly cut stump. Alternatively cut a frill around the base of each stem or stump and paint the exposed surface.
NO HYDROCOTYLE
NO Hydrocotyle painted on the stumps of re-sprouting trees and shrubs such as willow, wattle, barbary, hawthorn, woolly nightshade, gorse, and broom will prevent re-sprouting from the stumps.
