Congratulations to 'Dr' Reuben Jane

Reuben Jane has been working for the Kiwicare R&D department for several months following the completion of his doctoral theses. We are very pleased that he is to be awarded his PhD and in a fantastic day for the Jane family his farther is also to pick up a PhD in music at the same time. Fiona Platt Joins Kiwicare

Kiwicare welcomes Fiona Platt as the latest addition to the Kiwicare team. Fiona is to coordinate Kiwicare's marketing activities. She joins Kiwicare from a Campbell Arnotts (NZ) ltd where she was a Senior Brand Manager.

John Forrest Leads the South Island in Victory over the North Island

Our own John Forrest recently led the South Island Full Bore Rifle Team to victory in a match with the North Island. Well done John. Keep up the good work.

John Forrest Selected for New Zealand to Compete against Australia

John Forrest has been selected as Adjutant of the New Zealand Rifle Team to compete against Australia in Brisbane. John is the Inwards goods manager of Kiwicare.

The NRANZ Selectors have named the New Zealand Rifle Team to travel to Brisbane in August for an International Match against Australia.
The Team will competing as two teams against [two] Australian teams in the International match and part of it will also be competing as a North Island Team in the Australian State Teams Championships. There is a hope to have a few more South Islanders at the event to make a bona fide South Island Team also but should this not be possible the "rest" of the NZ team will compete as an unofficial team "along side" the others.
There are a number of people that have indicated their willingness to attend this event as supporters of, and helpers to this NZ team and their offers are gladly accepted. If any other Kiwis are attending Brisbane in August and wish to be a part of this group them please let Tony or John know. The team management will be contacted both them and the team in the near future with detail of requirements.

New Territory and Territory Managers for Kiwicare

Due to expansion of the Kiwicare business over recent years the territories in the North Island have been changed and a new Territory Manager was appointed for Waikato, BoP and Gisborne. David Riley was appointed to the position in May 2008. David came to Kiwicare with a wealth of knowledge of retail hardware having previously worked as a Mitre 10 store manager.

Enthusiasm and great relationships with the retailers and customers assure David great success in his years with Kiwicare.

With the retirement of Gavin Bruce who was a North Island Territory Manager for 19 years, a new North Auckland and Northland Territory manager has been appointed. Kiwicare welcomes Craig Connew to the team from May 2009.
