Protect you plants from disease

Spring is the time to get into the garden and plant your new annuals, spray your roses, fruit trees and ornamental to protect them from insect pests and diseases, stop the weeds before they emerge and clean away the moss, moulds and mildews that have grown over winter.

Fungus and Disease Control
The following products will help with your fungus and disease control problems

NO Fungus Super Sulphur

• Controls Powdery Mildew and Rust
• Suitable for use on Fruit trees, Grapevines, Vegetables, Ornamentals and Roses.

Thiram - General Purpose Protectant Fungicide
Fruit - Vegetables - Ornamentals - Roses - Turf
Controls most garden disease on fruit, vegetables, ornamentals and turf at 15g (2 caps full) per 10 litres of water.

Lawn care: Fungus, Fairy rings, Toadstools, Brown Patch. Mix 15g (2 Caps full) into 10 litres of water. Spray thoroughly over all areas of the infected and surrounding areas.

Bonus Uses: As a deterrent for cats and dogs. Mix at the rate of 10 g per litre of water. The repellent action of this product is extremely effective around rubbish bins and other important garden areas. Several applications of the product over 7 - 10 days are sometimes necessary to break the animals annoying habits.

NO Root Rot/Dieback - Aliette
Assists greatly in taking the shock out of transplanting & relocation operations. A systemic fungicide for the control of Phytophthora in ornamentals, apples and non-bearing kiwifruit, avocados, citrus and other pipfruit. A genuine systemic with upward and downward translocation properties in the plant. Foliage and root absorbed. Penetrates rapidly into the plant and has a long residual action.

For Use on: Nursery stock, seedlings and cuttings during propagation, ornamentals and non-bearing fruit crops and most transplanting operations.

For Prevention of: Root rot, die back, damping off diseases and phytophthora.

NO Moss 'N' Weeds
Controls Moss and Broad Leaf Weeds in lawns and fertilizes the grasses of the lawn to encourage flush of green growth and prevent moss returning. For use on established lawns only.

To control insects on fruit trees, vegetables and ornamental

Apples and Pears - to control leaf roller, codling moth, leaf hopper and leaf curling midge.
Vegetables - to control green vegetable bug, potato tuber moth, thrips, and caterpillars.
Ornamentals - to control leaf hopper caterpillars and mealy bug.
Sweet Corn - to control army caterpillar, corn ear worm.
For Wasps - Place approx 1 capful or 5g of dry powder into the nest entrance. Product has wide spectrum of control.
Stomach and contact poisoning - slight systemic effects.

Weed Control and Sterilisation
The following products will help with your weed control and sterilisation problems.

Buster 100-1 Concentrate - Total Vegetation Control

• 100 - 1 Concentrate Weed Killer.
• Non-residual foliage herbicide for the control of annual and perennial grasses and broad leaf weeds.
• Safe to use, Buster is biodegradable and breaks down easily with no adverse effects on either water or soil micro-organisms. It leaves no unpleasant odours.
• Buster is inactivated upon contact with the soil.
• For use where residual action is not required.
• Takes the hard work out of weeding.
• Safe around the roots of established shrubs and trees where the lower bard is hard and callused.
• However extreme care should be taken to avoid drift onto other desirable plants.
• Ideal for sight preparation prior to laying out new gardens, lawns, trees or forestry. Safe along fence lines, drainage areas, waterways and pasture renovation areas.
• Also available in convenient trigger spray to take the hard work out of weeding. DO NOT USE ON LAWNS

NO Weeds Ronstar Oxalis S.G. - Pre-Emergence Herbicide

• Selective residual long term weed control.
• Safe around ornamentals, shrubs & trees, particularly effective on oxalis, clovers and bindweed.
• Strongly fixes to the soil particles, thus minimising leaching problems.
• Granule (Sprinkle Pack) for ease of use.
• No knockdown action, all year round application.
• Kiwicare Ronstar / Simazine combination effectively controls the germination and pre-emergence growth of oxalis.

Do it Yourself (DIY) Bug spraying and proofing
Spaying for spiders begins now and carries through over the summer months. NO Spiders 50-1 concentrate can be mixed with water and sprayed on using any normal garden pressure sprayer using a fine mist setting. Apply the spray to all areas frequented by spiders. Borer beetles emerge from your timber from September through to April
Borer are on the wing from September to April, but are living in the woodwork throughout the rest of the year - NO Borer Concentrate or NO Borer Ready to Use and Trigger spray which penetrates into the woodwork killing the larvae quickly by contact or ingestion. Team this with NO Bugs Bug Bomb or NO Bugs Borafume fumigator for completely thorough treatment.
