Gammarus are small flea like crustaceans that are found on beaches, near rivers and lakes and in gardens. In some conditions they will move indoors.
Gammarus usually die quickly in the dry conditions indoors. Spraying entrance ways and exteriors close to the affected building with NO BUGS SUPER or sprinkling flower bed, chip bark and gravel areas close to the buildings with LAWNGARD PRILLS will reduce the likelihood of entry.
Gammarus are crustaceans and not insects. Although they look a little like fleas with vertically flattened bodies and the ability to hop they are larger than fleas and do not bite.
In moist conditions their numbers can increase rapidly and they will spread indoors seeking places to live.
