Weed Weapon Tough SDS

1. Apply Weed Weapon Tough with hand–directed equipment such as a low – moderate pressure knapsack, drench gun or handheld weed wiper or wick.
   1. For low growing weeds such as ragwort, thistles: Use hand–lance or handgun with No. 4 tip at 500kPa.
   2. For larger or semi–wooded plants e.g. inkweed, fennel: Use a handgun with No. 4 tip at 1000 – 2000kPa.
2.  Follow application method according to equipment of choice.
   1. Hand (drench) gun: Use an extension lance and hollow cone nozzle.
   2. Carpet Weed Wiper: 1 part of Weed Weapon Tough with 20 parts water (1:20).
   3. Wick Weed Wiper: 1 part Weed Weapon Tough with 1 part water (1:1).
   4. Aerial: Use a minimum of 60 litres water per hectare applied as a coarse spray.
   5. Boom spraying: Use a minimum of 200 litres of water per hectare.

Weed Weapon Tough SDS

• Read instructions thoroughly before use and retain instructions label for future reference.
• Do not apply to crops – Weed Weapon Tough must not be used on plants intended to produce food for consumption by humans or animals. This product must not be applied in areas that may be grazed by food–producing animals.
• Do not apply onto or into water.
• Do not allow spray drift outside the target area. The addition of a suitable drift control agent is recommended.
• Very toxic to some plant species. Some plants may be damaged or killed by contact with this product. Do not allow drift outside the target area to occur. If product contacts desirable plants wash immediately with water.
• This product controls a wide range of semi–woody and broadleaf weeds. Follow up treatments on some species may be necessary to obtain more complete control.
• Weed Weapon Tough may be used for the control of weeds on the banks of waterways but must not be applied into or onto water.
• It is recommended that a knapsack sprayer or weed wick/wiper be used to apply the herbicide in these situations. 
• Apply using properly maintained equipment in accordance with the New Zealand Standard for the Management of Agrichemicals (NZS8409).
• Best results are achieved when weeds are actively growing through spring until early summer.

• Applications should only be made when there is little or no potential for spray drift. Very small quantities of spray, which may not be visible, may seriously injure susceptible plants. Do not spray when wind is blowing towards susceptible crops or ornamental plants. The addition of a drift control agent is recommended.
