Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed SDS

1. Apply Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed with hand–directed equipment such as a low – moderate pressure knapsack, drench gun or handheld weed wiper or wick. Aerial application may be used for large areas.
2. Follow application method according to equipment of choice and / or problem you want to address.
   1. Turfgrass: For control of creeping oxalis, hydrocotyle and some other broadleaf weeds in turf, use 2 litres of Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed per hectare (knapsack rate of 2.5mL per litre of water for small areas such as domestic lawns). Some burning may occur to fine turf grasses. Do not use clippings from treated areas for compost or mulch for 6 months
      after application.
   2. Knapsack application: Use 6mL of Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed per litre of water. Ensure full coverage of leaves and stems.
   3. Handgun application: Ensure full coverage of leaves and stems. Use pressures > 1000 – < 2000kPa only.
   4. Aerial: Use in 200 – 400 litres water per hectare applied as a coarse spray using half overlap and opposite passes.
   5. Stump swabbing: For control of barberry, hawthorn, woolly nightshade, wattle, willow, gorse, and broom. Mix 1 part of Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed with 20 parts of water or diesel. Liberally apply to freshly cut surface and stems down to ground level with a paint brush or knapsack. If using diesel, agitate while filling and during use.

• Read instructions thoroughly before use and retain instructions label for future reference.
• Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed is used to control a range of woody and semi–woody brushweeds and broadleaf weeds on non–productive, waste and forestry land, and home gardens. Residues in soil may prevent early re–establishment following treatment.
• Treated weeds should not be used in compost. Weed Weapon Tough Brushweed may be used for the control of weeds on the banks of waterways but must not be applied into or onto water.
• It is recommended that a knapsack sprayer or weed wick / wiper be used to apply the herbicide in these situations. Apply using properly maintained
  equipment in accordance with the New Zealand Standard for the Management of Agrichemicals (NZS8409).
• Do not apply to crops – must not be used on plants intended to produce food for consumption by humans or animals. This product must NOT be applied in areas that may be grazed by food–producing animals.
• Do not apply onto or into water.
• Do not allow spray drift outside the target area.
