Humics are organic matter containing a range of acids known as humic acids. This organic matter has been shown to improve plant growth and health and the health of beneficial soil micro-organisms.

Identify the problem
Low soil organic matter is known to be bad for soil condition and plant growth and health. Humics are a group of humic acids that are broken down by soil micro-organisms slowly releasing nutrients that plants can uptake. There is also some evidence that plants maybe able to utilise the larger molecules directly and this may have benefits to the plants.

How to solve the problem
