Grey mould is caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea is a common disease of soft fruit.
Identify the problem
Grey mould causes rotting of soft tissues and fuzzy grey/brown mould growth on soft tissues and fruit of soft fruit plants in humid conditions.
Solutions
- Remove affected parts and shrivelled, dead fruits. Apply Organic Super Sulphur particularly at flowering and when the fruit is developing every 10-14 days.
- Ensure all fallen fruit is cleared away from underneath affected plants.
