Directions
1. Work out how many Insect Control Bomb(s) are required as follows:
  1. Multiply floor area of each room – e.g. 3m x 6m = 18m²
  2. Multiply floor area by height of room – e.g. 18m² x 2.6m = 46.8 m³
  3. Do the above calculations for each room. Add up each room and total, divide total by 150 to help you determine how many bombs are needed for the whole area to be treated.
  4. Always round up e.g. if the total is 400m³ (400 divided by 150 = 2.7), you should use 3 bug bombs, not 2.
2. Prepare the area you want to treat as follows:
  1. Turn off all electrical and gas appliances.
  2. Extinguish all pilot lights, open flames and other sources of ignition.
  3. Remove all animals and birds from the area to be fumigated.
  4. Remove / cover and switch off the air pump of any fish tanks.
  5. Close all doors and windows surrounding area to the fumigated.
  6. Turn off ventilation systems.
  7. Cover or remove all food, food utensils and sensitive plastic items such as spectacles.
3. Shake the can for at least 10 seconds. Then remove cap.
4. Place on a steady, solid, level surface e.g. wide jar lid.
5. Keep face clear of area above cans and press tab down firmly until it clicks into position.
6. Vacate the room closing the door behind you.
7. Leave undisturbed for 2 – 3 hours and then re–enter the area to open windows and doors. Then leave again to ventilate for 30 mins.
8. Wash down food preparation surfaces.
9. Remove dead bugs after fumigation by vacuuming every few days. Keep children and animals out of the treated rooms until ventilated.
10. For long lasting bug control, use in conjunction with the appropriate residual spray such as Insect Guard Multi–Insect Surface Spray.

Caution
- Read instructions thoroughly before use.
- Extremely flammable aerosol and in a pressurised container – do not use or store near open flames, high temperatures or other source of ignition. Do not smoke in the vicinity during use.
- Do not expose can to temperatures exceeding 50°C or direct sunlight as may occur in cars, near heaters, stoves, fireplaces and open flames. May burst if heated.
- Very toxic to aquatic life with long–lasting effects. Do not spray in the vicinity of aquariums or birds.
- Hazardous to terrestrial invertebrates.
- Do not spray directly onto people, pets, food or food preparation areas. Remove or cover food an food utensils.
- Deliberately sniffing or inhaling concentrated contents can be harmful.
- Do not allow the product to enter waterways or storm water drains.
- Do not incinerate or puncture the can, even when empty.
- Do not use a single bomb in a volume less than 5m³ (e.g. closet).
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. May cause mild skin irritation, skin sensitisation and respiratory sensitisation.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.

- Indoor use only – not for use outdoors.

Q. What is Permethrin?
A. Permethrin is a safe pyrethroid insecticides that, because it is volatile, readily transitions to the vapour phase to stay in the air longer and penetrate the treatment space. It is easily contacted and ‘breathed in’ by the pest insects giving effective rapid control.

Q. How long does Insect Guard Insect Control Bombs take to work?
A. Typically, with the product's disorientation of flying insects will occur within minutes, knockdown will occur after 10 – 30 minutes and insect death 30 – 60 minutes after exposure.
