NO Wasps Nest Killer SDS

1. From a safe distance, watch the wasps for a few minutes to identify the nest location / entrance (wasp nests have only one entrance).
2. Shake can well before use. Hold can in an upright position.
3. Stand a safe distance from the nest (at least 2m) and not directly underneath.
   1. For nests in the open: Use a sweeping motion to saturate the nest.
   2. For nests in the ground: Apply a jet into the entrance hole where wasps land.
4. Check again several hours later. If there is still activity, repeat the application.

NOTE: NO Wasps Nest Killer aerosol works best on nests in the open. The entrance to wasp nests that are in the eaves of a house or in a hole in the ground may be some distance from the entry point such as the gap at the eaves. This makes it difficult for the spray to reach the nest. In such a cases, consider the NO Wasps Eliminator which can be puffed into the entrance and reaches the nest more easily and wasps carry the powder into the nest on entry.

• Read instructions thoroughly before use.
• Flammable aerosol. Contains gas under pressure at a pressurised container, may explode if heated. Do not spray onto open flame. Keep away from sources of ignition or high temperatures exceeding 50°C. Avoid contact to direct sunlight as may occur in cars, near heaters, stoves, fireplaces and open flames.
• Do not stand directly under the area being sprayed to ensure insects and spray do not fall onto skin or clothing. Wear protective gloves, dust mask and eye protection.
• Avoid skin contact and inhalation. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. In case of inadequate ventilation, wear face mask. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal. May cause paraesthesia to susceptible person and avoid direct contact.
• Very toxic to aquatic environment and ecotoxic to terrestrial invertebrates. Do not contaminate waterways. Do not apply to where bees are foraging. Do not apply to bees, bee hives or nests.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Please follow cautionary labels and safety instructions located on the product packaging.

• Read instructions thoroughly before use and retain instructions label for future reference.
• Use as part of the 1–2–3 Wasp Control Programme.
• Apply when nest entrance is dry and rain is not expected within 2 hours.
• Wasps are less active in low light; to avoid stings, apply powder just before dusk or just after dawn.
• To avoid being stung by wasps, wear a beekeepers veil and gloves.

NOTE: Yellow–legged hornets (Vespa Velutina) have recently been detected in Auckland. Kiwicare’s wasp products are effective against wasps and can kill hornets on direct contact. However, they are not designed for large or enclosed hornet nests. Do not attempt to treat hornet nests yourself — photograph and report sightings at report.mpi.govt.nz or call 0800 80 99 66.
