Ripcord Plus RTU SDS

1. Shake well before use.
2. Use this product according to the product on hand: 
   1. If you have Ripcord Plus Concentrate:
      1. Invert the container several times before opening.
      2. Mix 40mL per litre of clean water.
      3. Apply as a fine droplet surface spray using one litre of prepared spray mix per 20m² of surface area.
      4. Apply to wet the surface but not to the point where the spray collects in drips and runs off. 
   2. If you have Ripcord PlusReady–To–Use (RTU):
      1. Remove remote spray unit from packaging.
      2. Remove white lid from packaging and replace with spray unit cap ensuring that the tube falls to the bottom of the container.
      3. Adjust spray nozzle to SPRAY position.
      4. Hold the applicator 30 – 40cm from the area to be treated.
      5. Pump the trigger firmly and spray in a sweeping motion. Apply to areas where insects land, walk and congregate. 
      6. Turn nozzle to STOP / OFF position after use.
3. For crawling insect control: Apply to all areas where insect activity has been seen. Follow this short guide on where to use Ripcord Plus according to the crawling pest:
   1. Ants: Spray nests, runs, walls and places where ants are seen.
   2. Cockroaches: Spray walls, skirting boards, cupboards, and behind sinks, stoves and pipes. Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices.
   3. Spiders: Spray nests, hiding places and exposed surfaces.
4. To reduce flying insect numbers: Apply widely over surfaces that insects land on, for example, rubbish bins, outdoor decking, ceilings, window frames, walls and eaves.
   1. Flies and Mosquitoes: Spray walls, ceilings, windowsills and other sheltered areas and exposed surfaces.
   2. Fleas, silverfish, slaters, carpet beetles: Spray skirting boards, floors, carpet, kennels, bedding and adjacent wall area. Do not use directly on pets. This product is not a flea treatment.
   3. Common House Borer: Apply by brush or spray to un–infested wooden joinery,  cupboards, doors, skirting, and furniture. For the treatment and protection of un–infested timber only.
   4. Animal housing areas: Spray sheltered areas / exposed surfaces for nuisance and biting flies. Use a higher rate of 70mL per litre of water when pest numbers are very high or when treated surfaces are exposed to the weather.

• Read instructions thoroughly before use.
• Do not store diluted concentrate; use soon after dilution. Prepare fresh spray mix as necessary.
• Evacuate premises and re–enter when spray applications are dry.
• Before spraying, remove pets and cover or remove fish tanks and bird cages.
• Do not spray on or allow spray to land on personal contact items e.g. clothing, footwear, towels or bedding. 
• Do not allow spray to contact food, food preparation surfaces or food utensils. Remove or cover all foodstuffs before spraying. Wash all food contact surfaces thoroughly before re–introducing any foodstuffs.
• Do not allow spray to contact plants in flower if they are likely to be visited by bees.
• This product must not be applied onto animals. Keep children and animals away from the treated areas until spray is dry.
• This substance may cause an allergic skin reaction, like temporary skin numbness. Wear suitable gloves, eye protection and disposable long–sleeved top and bottoms as well as closed shoes. Wash contaminated clothing and exposed skin after use.
• May cause damage to kidney through repeated or prolonged ingestion. Avoid inhalation of mist or spray. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product.
• Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. This substance must not be applied onto or into water. Collect spillage. Do not spray over, or allow drift over, surface water or non–target areas. Do not contaminate waterways or stormwater drains.
• Hazardous to terrestrial vertebrates and invertebrates. Toxic to bees. This substance may not be applied on flowering plants. Avoid release to the environment. 
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Store in original container in a cool, dark place away from foodstuffs.

• Read instructions thoroughly before use and retain instructions label for future reference.
• A higher volume of spray may be required on very absorbent surfaces such as bricks or cement.
• If the spray job is interrupted, agitate the spray mix before re–use.
• When there is a concern about the possible effect of the product on the surface to be treated, such as new paint work, a small test area should be sprayed first to check compatibility.
• Keep diluted concentrate agitated.
