Q. What are Transfluthrin and d-Phenothrin?
A. Transfluthrin and d-Phenothrin are safe pyrethroid insecticides that, because they are volatile, readily transition to the vapour phase stay in the air longer and penetrate the treatment space. They are easily contacted and ‘breathed in’ by the pest insects giving effective rapid control.
Q. How long does INSECT GUARD Automatic Control System Odourless take to work?
A. Typically, INSECT GUARD Odourless will be repellent immediately, disorientation of flying insects will occur within minutes, knockdown will occur after 10-30 minutes and insect death 30-60 minutes after exposure. However, expect full effectiveness to be achieved 24 hours from first installation.
Q. Can INSECT GUARD Odourless be left on when going on holiday?
A. Yes. However, if you are leaving for more than a week we recommend turning the dispenser off.
Q. What do I do if the dispenser is not spraying at the intervals set on the controls?
A. If the INSECT GUARD dispenser unit begins spraying more frequently than the setting (10 min, 20 min or 30 min), turn OFF, remove the batteries from the unit, wait 10 seconds and reinsert them, then switch on again.
Q. What battery size do the dispensers require?
A. The INSECT GUARD Dispensers take AA batteries.
"Hi. For years I’ve used various sprays for eradicating flys and other insects in the house. Some were less than adequate. Your product “Insect Guard”, is the best I’ve come across. Just a quick spray and it’s almost like within a couple breaths, they are suddenly doing the wing crossing manoeuvre and rapid dance like performance, (Which I don’t mind as I know it’s the end for them). So good on you guys for making a product that does the job. Regards."
