Weed Weapon Extra Strength RTU SDS

 

1. Shake well.
2. Use this product according to the product on hand: 
   1. If you have Weed Weapon Extra Strength Concentrate: Dilute 12.5mL concentrate in 1L water.
      1. Mix thoroughly.
      2. Apply using a pressure sprayer.
      3. Spray entire weed until foliage just wet.
   2. If you have Weed Weapon Extra Strength Ready–To–Use (RTU): Turn nozzle to SPRAY position.
      1. Spray entire weed until foliage just wet.
      2. Return nozzle to OFF position after use.

*For waxy leaved weeds such as agapanthus and ivy we recommend the addition of Kiwicare Dye & Stick.

 

Weed Weapon Extra Strength Technical Sheet

• Read instructions thoroughly before use.
• Do not mow or cultivate after treatment until weeds have died.
• Wait 5 days before planting in sprayed areas.
• Avoid contact with foliage, new bark or near roots of desirable plants. If a desirable plant is sprayed, immediately hose off with water.
• On lawn weeds, use this product as spot treatment as Weed Weapon will kill lawn grasses. Take care when spot spraying lawn weeds as this product is a non–selective herbicide and will kill any foliage in contact.
• Do not use around fruity vines, avocado trees or sensitive plants.
• Causes eye irritation. Wear gloves and eye/face protection when applying.
• Do not use on or around food or animal feed producing plants. This product shall not be applied in a wide–dispersive manner. Not for use in or over water.
• Toxic to aquatic life with long–lasting effects. Avoid contamination of waterways. Collect spillage.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Please follow cautionary labels and safety instructions located on the product packaging.

Safe storage of home and garden products

• Read instructions thoroughly before use and retain instructions label for future reference.
• For fastest results, spray when weeds are actively growing and in temperatures above 10°C or use Weed Weapon Rapid Action.
• Ensure whole colony is sprayed for colonial weeds such as ivy, agapanthus, etc.
• Perennial weeds sometimes require an additional application.
• Effects may take longer to show on some tough weeds or weeds in deep shade. In these cases, a second application is recommended after 7 – 14 days.
• Weed Weapon Extra Strength control of difficult weeds with waxy or water repellent leaves can be improved by the addition of Kiwicare Dye & Stick.
• For best results on tough weeds like agapanthus, ivy and tradescantia (also known as Wandering Jew), ensure complete coverage of the entire colony. Use Kiwicare Dye & Stick with this product and apply in the morning of a sunny day.
